You can access the white-labelled URL for your domain, such as https://webmail.example.org, from any popular browser on your desktop, phone, or tablet. There, will login with your email address and the corresponding password. Webmail works great with current versions of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and other browsers.
Q. Which native email apps and protocols are supported?
You can send and receive emails using any IMAP-enabled email client, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Postbox, Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, Windows Mail, and more.
Q. Which mobile phones and operatings systems can I access mail from?
Using your compatible choice of modern browser or native IMAP email client, you can manage your email on devices running Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, iOS on iPhone and iPad, and Android phones and tablets.
Q. Can I use my Gmail account with Pro Mail and Premium Mail?
Yes. Gmail offers functionality to securely import messages from Pro Mail or Premium Mail via POP into your Gmail inbox, and then send messages from your Pro Mail or Premium Mail account via SMTP. It is straightforward to setup and gives you all the best features from both both services!
Q. How much storage is provided per email account?
Pro Email accounts offer 5 GB space dedicated to emails. Premium Mail accounts include 25 GB for email messages and an additional 5 GB for cloud file storage, similar to Google Drive.
Q. What port do I need to use for sending via a native mail client?
Usually, port 25 is used for outgoing mail service via SMTP. However, if your ISP or firewall blocks port 25, you may use port 587.
Q. Can I create mailing lists?
Yes, you can create mailing lists for your mail domain and manage users, however this functionality is intended for team communications and not appropriate for mass mailing. More information on this can be found in our HiveMind knowledge base.
Q. What is your spam policy?
You hate spam, and so do we. We take a zero-tolerance stance against sending of unsolicited email, bulk emailing, and spam. "Safe lists," purchased lists, and selling of lists will be treated as spam. Users who send spam may have their accounts terminated without notice.
Q. Can I use auto-responders when I'm out of the office?
Yes, you may create auto-responders to automatically respond to messages arriving at your address.
Q. Why doesn't forzandoArts provide free email service provided with your web hosting plans?
We could, but if we did it'd be bad choice to hire us. Generally, it's poor form to run web hosting and email on the same server for security and technical reasons. Web servers are designed to efficiently present lots of dynamic data to visitors, often running complex programs to support this. This can open attack vectors to malicious actors, as can leaving open communications routes required by email service. Having email on your web server jeopordizes both your critical communications and your web presence.
