From the arranger. "L'homme Arme" uses a tune that I first heard sung by the Christmas Revels in Boston, and more recently in 'The Armed Man' by Karl Jenkins. It was used as a processional for the 2011 Bay View Week of Handbells, with measures 1-44 repeated until all ringers were in place. The ringers who had a malleted part did not process. It should be played with much vigor!".
