A contemporary setting of the traditional Shaker melody with a "hint" of Aaron Copeland. With each verse and chorus, Linda gradually adds a variety of handbell techniques, countermelodies, and an interesting use of motives as an accompaniment. Fun surprises such as meter changes (6/8 3/4) and bold syncopation give a dance-like, happy quality - exciting both the ringers and the listeners. Both editions are totally compatible and use their respective full range of handbells.
