Commissioned by the group "Strikepoint" of Duluth, Minnesota, Sky-Tinted Waters is a three-movement suite inspired by the beauty and serenity of Minnesota's lakes. A comic vignette of fun on the frozen lake Mille Lacs, featuring those delightful Scandinavian buddies of Minnesota lore, Sven and Ole, forms the second movement.
