Premiered at the 13th International Handbell Symposium in August, 2008, this work is the Australian composer's first for handbells. It is based on the hymn tune ST. CLEMENT, and utilizes musical techniques that support the reflective quality of the hymn's text, "The day Thou gavest Lord is ended. The darkness falls at Thy behest.".
