The dance follows in a light and lively 7/8 meter, using triangle, bongos, and tambourine to accentuate the rhythmic patterns. The shimmering melody is accompanied by a malleted bass eighth note pattern; then later, the bass bells play the fully harmonized melody under a light treble ostinato.
